I didn't get any shots of the two monkeys today, but here is one of the beautiful horses on the 1912 restored carousel. It is a hand-carved wooden carousel built in Leavenworth, Kansas. This is carousel horse No. 9, "Mignonette". Click on this link to see details about the carousel.

Belinda came over for a few minutes during her lunch hour and we walked out to have a look at the two eco-sculptures that were created to look like the carousel horses. The body, mane, and tail are all living plants - pretty amazing!
