Point no Point, Sooke, BC

Today, we went to Point no Point for lunch.

After lunch, we went for a nice (chilly) walk on the beach.

We went to visit Paul's parents for a couple of days - Holly was really excited to see her cousin, Brandon. She was happy to see Blackie, too!

At Whistler with friends

We spent a couple of nights at Whistler with our friends. Holly, Cody and Kane made a snowman with Rich.

Christmas Day!

Christmas morning and Holly is opening her present from Santa . . .   she got what she asked for - a whiteboard just like at school!
 
Santa even brought Mowgli a present! She got a very fancy cat tree - Holly was nice enough to ask Santa in her letter to bring something for her cat!

Christmas Dinner was at my Aunt Grace and Uncle David's place this year. What fun to have another baby to spoil! This is Ella, my cousin Alison's baby, just 6 and a half weeks old!

Christmas Eve

Steve, my cousin's husband, was Santa Claus this year...

He did a great job!

Holly was really pleased with her new skirt from Elle & Paolo - what girl doesn't love new clothes?!

Kids' Xmas Party

Today, we went to the annual PMBA Kids' Xmas Party. After a nice buffet breakfast, we got in line to see Santa & Mrs. Claus.


Then, Holly went around and decided which bouncy castles, etc she wanted to line up for. . .



Finally, she wanted to get her face painted - the lady that did this was amazing - worth the 45-minute wait?!

Winter Concert

Tonight, we attended Holly's Winter Concert at school. In the Grade 1 presentation, Holly was a reindeer for the first song! That's Kyle sitting besider her - looks more like a ham than a reindeer! =)

Santa Parade

Today, we went to the local Santa Claus Parade. We (my mom and I) took Holly and Mehr. It was actually really nice - we got to stop in at Starbucks and then basically choose a spot anywhere along the route we wanted - no crowds! Unlike the parade downtown, where you have to wait for hours, and the crowds are huge. We got some free things handed to us during the parade, like recycle bags, candy canes, pens, etc. After the parade, we went to see the lighting of the Christmas tree. We ran into Charlie, another of the girls in Holly & Mehr's class.
