Holly has been learning to use the potty. Today we had a great breakthrough - she asked to wear her underwear to daycare! When she got to daycare, she told Maria (our daycare provider), "I'm a big girl". She went the whole day with one minor accident and wore a pullup during her nap, which was dry when she woke up.
The whole process has taken a few months (which is to be expected) - we put the potty sheet up in November, put on her first sticker February 10th, and was doing well for a couple of weeks towards the end of February...... and then we stalled - she refused to wear her underwear for 2 weeks in March and we had sporadic success with it for the next few weeks. She finally started using the potty again at the end of May - with small accidents and finishing off in the potty. Just after her birthday, she figured out when she needed to go and stopped having accidents!
Our little girl is now a big girl!
